Project Management Builds Community
This year’s theme for 2018 Professional Development Day, “Project Management Builds Community”, offers a dual meaning for all of us as project managers. First, project management practices are used in every type of endeavor, whether it be for education, transportation, culture, economic development, or health - to name only a few. Secondly, project management builds a strong community of skilled project managers who not only understand the processes but also come together to network and strengthen their impact as an industry.
This event provides opportunities for practitioners and those interested in the profession to learn new skills, enhance existing knowledge and skills and to network and learn from others who work in project management.
We have an exciting and diverse group of presenters this year, and we welcome their experience and knowledge as we grow together, expanding the influence of project management in our communities! Keep a lookout for more details as we get closer to the day!
